Director Research

The director, a vital part of the music video production. the director is person who supervises the creative aspects of a dramatic production or film and instructs the actors and crew.

The director governs what happens in a film/media product and maintains the creativeness of the piece.

They often develop a vision for the film, and carry that vision out, deciding how the film should look; making the vision come to life.

They decide what tone the film should have, and what experience the audience should get from the cinematic experience.

They work close with the cast and crew, and they could take on such roles as editing and cast crew selection. But most importantly coordinating the actors moves.

Strangely some famous directors have started by making music videos and then moved on to big films, for example: Chris Cunningham who made his debut with the music video "come to daddy" by Aphex Twin, he then later went on to direct films such as Alien 3. And also Michel Gondry, who directed the recent film: The Green Hornet.

Therefore, we believe that a director plays a huge part of the production of our music video, and will play a huge part in our group.
